Bradford - Galway Twin Town Mural 1993.

Painted on the Beehive pub in Bradford. The bubbles represent vast empty space, while the magnifying glass is zooming in on the tight packed planet Bradford/Galway.

Mural painting is often organisation heavy, and this one being one of my early twin town exchange murals was fairly monstrous. Dusty Rhodes of Bradford Festival who was part sponsoring it recognised I was about to buckle and said, 'if you decide a job's worth doing get in there and make it happen'. I did, and this excellent advice has stuck with me ever since, and I do.
