Drift Mining 2026.

Jayson wanted a picture of drift mining on his house.

He made the design using AI, which was quite interesting to paint since AI works in ways that I wouldn't think of.

His grandfather died in a mining accident, so he fancied a bit of a comemoration. But also to celebrate that a few small drift mines are still working in the Forest today and hopefully for many years to come. They supply heritage coal to local families and steam engine enthusiasts.
